Review and First Impression: Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in Dark Brown
Monday, September 21, 2015
Hello ♥
I seldom reward myself with fancy or high-end makeup. I have a drawer that has everything I need. A few makeup brushes, a couple of liquid foundation, a couple of compact powders, a few eye shadow palettes, eyeliner, mascara, other palettes and that seems to be it. So when I saw this post on Facebook, the Anastasia Dipbrow, I had half a mind to get it. But after negotiating with the seller, who is also a good friend of mine (The G-Spot Company), I got it and paid through my PayPal account. It was a smooth and easy transaction and since she lives near where I live, I got it the next day.
Here it is!
Product claims / description:
Waterproof brow color ideal for sculting, defining, and carving perfectly precise brows that won't fade, smudge-free creamy formula, glides on skin and adheres to hair. Must-have for oily skin and humid climates. Tighten cap to prevent drying.
On the website:
This fast-drying waterproof pomade resists smudging and sliding. The highly pigmented formula blends easily to create the illusion of full thick brows, and a little goes a long way.
This retails for Php1,185.00 on the seller's Facebook page. Considering that this an investment, it is worth every centavo!
Here's a swatch. I just lightly dipped my angled brush and swatched it for four times and had this as a result, it is worth the purchase.
I always go for 'everyday' and full brows. Here's a selfie at around 12noon and the weather is so humid I was worried that my make-up won't last long.
Here's another at around 2-3 in the afternoon. Still looking good. (Yes, that angle is my good side. LOL)
and at 7-8 in the evening.
The whole day I was wearing the dipbrow pomade, I only checked it once and after that, just took random photos of myself. :)
This is an awesome product! I wore this around 8 hours in total and my thoughts are:
♥ A little does go a long way. This will last me forever!
♥ Love the pigmentation. You can go to "everyday" kind of brows to fully sculpted, carved, bold brows.
♥ It's not hard to apply, but for a first-timer using cream eyebrow product, might take some getting used to.
♥ Love, love, love it!
It stayed in place as if I just applied it, which is awesome because I barely have brows at all!
As everyone (beauty gurus or not) raves about this product, now I know why! A must have indeed!

I heard raves about this product despite its hefty price. Might give a try after I finish my current eyebrow powder from BYS. Thank you for sharing!
